Russell Ley is an experienced hiking guide, wilderness educator, and safety specialist offering guided adventures throughout the Adirondacks, Catskills, Shawangunks, Minnewaska, and Harriman State Park.

Through the Russell School of Hiking, he provides guided hikes, camping and snowshoeing adventures, beginner programs, map and compass training, and hiking safety and logistics instruction. He also works with students, organizations, corporate groups, and hikers preparing for the Devil’s Path.

Russell has experience guiding individuals and groups of more than 60 participants. He is a Wilderness First Responder with Wilderness First Aid and CPR training.
